A. VIRGIN Olive Oil.
It is extracted from olives exclusively via mechanical means to ensure the purity of its natural substance.
The Virgin olive oil is distinguished according to its acidity levels in the following three sub-categories:
1. Extra Virgin Olive Oil ( Acidity less than 0.8%)
2. Fine Virgin Olive Oil ( Acidity more than 1.5%)
3. Ordinary Virgin Olive Oil ( Acidity more than 2.0%)
B. REFINED Olive Oil. This produced from degraded olive oils subjected to various chemical-processing methods.
C. OLIVE OIL. This is comprises and intermediate mixture of REFINED and VIRGIN olive oil.
D. POMACE OLIVE OIL This is extracted form from olive pomaces.
The descending ranking order of prices is A 1, A 2, A 3, B, C, and D.
